How to Use Apogee Systems — Cargo Planner
Select a ship — type its name in the Ship field. The planner loads the correct hold geometry automatically.
Add a commodity — click + Add, search for your cargo type, and pick a colour. Add multiple commodities to plan mixed loads.
Pick a container size — choose 1–32 SCU. Use the rotate button to switch between upright and flat orientations for tall containers.
Place containers — hover a cell to preview, click to place, right-click to remove. Drag an existing container to reposition it. Press R to rotate before placing.
Switch views — Top for a flat overhead plan, Iso for an isometric perspective, 3D for a full three-dimensional view you can orbit.
Use layers — the layer buttons at the top switch between floor levels. The planner handles multi-layer containers automatically.
Save a preset — name your layout and click Save to store it. Load it back instantly on any future run with the same ship.
View the manifest — click ≡ View Manifest to see a breakdown by hold or a shopping list to purchase at a kiosk. Copy it to clipboard.
Export / Import — share layouts as JSON or restore them on another device. Your data stays in your browser — no account required.

Cross-Device Sync
Sync is not configured on this deployment yet.
Sync is off. Everything you have planned lives only in this browser.
Turning it on stores a copy of your planner data — hauling missions, cargo layouts and your refuel loadout — under a random code generated on this device.
No account, no email, no password, no name.
That code is the only thing linking you to your data. We have no way of knowing who a code belongs to.
Your data is only ever your data. It is never used to identify, profile or track you.
Anyone holding your code can read what is stored under it — keep it private, and only paste it into devices you own.
Your refuel mission log is never synced. It stays on this device.
If you lose your code, the synced copy cannot be recovered.
There is no account to reset and no email to recover from. That is the trade-off for never asking who you are.

It is the only way back to your synced data, and anyone who has it can read that data.
